I started doing a photography course and have assignments to learn how different settings work. This one was to try and freeze motion by changing the shutter speed. For those who care, this picture was taken with a shutter speed of 1/320.
Goldenrod
I don't know if this is actually goldenrod, but that's what the color reminds me of. If it isn't really goldenrod, let me know and I'll re-title the post :)
A Lesser Light To Govern The Night
The reason there are four is because I thought it was cool to have the leaves in some of them and you'll notice that two are an orange-ish/red and two are gray. Not sure why, except for maybe slightly different amounts of light. I am so happy to finally be able to photograph the moon!!!!! I've wanted to for such a long time and now know how.
Following the Leader
This mama duck and her babies were in the back corner of my grandparents' backyard. We herded them towards the creek and they swam away.
